I am a week behind on Top Ten Tuesday but thought that I would do last week’s prompt which was Books I’d Gladly Throw in the Ocean. This actually made me pause smile and then giggle thinking of some of the books I would throw away and how much attention they would get.
Before I get into the Books I would literally throw away here is a little bit about what Top Ten Tuesday is.
Before I tell you my ten books that have been on my tbr for ages, lets talk about where Top Ten Tuesday originates from. This meme was started by The Broke and The Bookish back in 2010. At the beginning of 2018 it was taken over by That Artsy Reader Girl. It is a weekly meme/tag in regards to all thing bookish and you guessed it you have to name your Top Ten! To join in you can go to The Artsy Read Girls blog and find the list of prompts for the next couple of months, if you are like me wanting to plan ahead. I have added a link here.
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
I never got on this hype I was bored with the first book and didn’t continue the series. Could quite happily chuck this in the ocean.
Damsel by Elana K. Arnold
I just didn’t enjoy this book one bit. I have a full review Here.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
I just didn’t get it. The characters were good but yeah not my favourite.
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
I just didn’t gel with this book. I didn’t like the characters one bit.
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
I mean its not the worse book I have ever read but you know I don’t like any of the characters. I am hoping the series gets better as loved ACOTAR.
More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
Normally I love Adam Silvera’s work but this book did nothing for me.
The Ninth House by Alice McDermott
Again a book that I started but didn’t hold my interest one bit.
The Beast’s Heart by Leife Shallcross
Again another book I started and it didn’t hold my attention at all.
The Sea Beast Takes a Lover by Michael Andreasen
I think the title says it all.
